Altec Lansing Kid Safe 2-in-1 ANC Headphones

These headphones are super cool and they look neat, and sound awesome! The best part for me is that they keep your kid's ears safe by not letting the volume go too loud (it's limited to 85dB). These headphones also cancel out background noise. They're great for kids bc they're easy to carry around, fold up, and the battery lasts a long time (15 hours!). Your kid can basically use them all day without needing to charge.

Although I had read a review mentioning this issue I still decided to order this paair of of Kids NC headphones for our upcoming long overseas flight so my 2.5 year old can get a little noise reduction and watch some shows.I was frankly not expecting miracles based on the relatively low price for a brand that is more known that the multitude of generics out there. The features on paper were great. However, my first Instinct was to try the ANC feature, for a couple of seconds I was pleasantly surprised that they were doing something (versus nothing at all) but as soon as I touched the left cup to adjust them that loud jarring feedback noise came on. Something definitely abnormal and too loud. These headphones are designed for young ears and with safety in mind this is something I would highly recommend against and I would actually hope that Alec Lamsing looks into a manufacturing / design defect with this model and potentially recalls these units.

The Altec Lansing Kid Safe Wireless Headphones work well, they have good wireless range, nice battery life, and are comfortable and block out external noise when using. The headphones are travel friendly, and have kid safe volume, and my son enjoys to use them on his PC.

We purchased these for our 7 year old so he could listen to music and watch Disney on his iPad and I could get work done in a quiet space at the same time. Setup was simple, the connected to his iPad no problem. They hold a charge for a long time and the volume level is good for kids. They were actually great until they broke. My kiddo pulled them out to adjust them to put them on and they snapped. Perhaps he pulled too hard. I have no idea. We threw them back together with some duct tape. The sound still works. So they are still technically usable.
