Altec Lansing Shockwave Party Speaker

I got this for Christmas to use by the pool and the sound quality is great it’s loud enough for our whole back yard especially if your phone volume is all the way up. The bass is awesome and we love it at night with the light up features. Charging last 4-5 hours which is great. Biggest downside which in my opinion is a big no no - the Bluetooth range is only about a foot to a foot and a half. If I want to use my phone I have to be right next to the speaker which kind of sucks. It breaks up if someone walks in front on of it unless your phone is basically rested on top of it. Fix this feature and we have zero problems

This speaker worked well the first couple times. After 2 weeks, the speaker would not hold a charge and would no longer function. I sent it in to Altec in October 2023 as it was covered under warranty, but I have not received a replacement as of January 2024. I would not recommend buying this product!

Shorts out and will not turn on despite being fully charged.

Junk speaker I’ve replaced it and it still has issues will be sending it back

Purchased one from Walmart today and a $15 JBL speaker was louder! Hope I can get my money back
