Having bought an original Rockbox and loving it for its fair quality and decent sound for 150 bucks, lasting a couple years, I bought a second one, and have been hugely disappointed!! Right out of the gate I didn't like the fact that the battery level feature was gone from the screen. Within 2 weeks the speakers were rattling, and within 2 months the charging port is not working properly, it needs to be pulled to one side to charge properly now. Apparently they put all the money in development of this product into the rainbow lights feature, which I had no real interest in, I was hoping for a speaker that was going to sound good for a couple years, like it's predecessor. In summary, I will never personally buy another of these, nor do I suggest you do!! Unless you're actually looking for a cool $150 rainbow nightlife.... In that case, this may be what you're looking for!!!

This speaker is absolutely perfect for the beach, poolside, or patio! The sound quality is amazing! It's very loud and the charge lasts forever!!!! It's easy to connect to by Bluetooth as well. It's def worth the buy.

The sound quality is great, Connected great with no problems, charging is great except I would like it to tell what percentage it is on my phone like my other (Altec Lansing) speaker does, and the appearance is outstanding with the lights on at night looks great, it stayed connected with Bluetooth up to 100’. Overall this is a great not to expensive Bluetooth speaker.
