Bad Battery Life

This doesn’t last near as long as my previous Altec. I get about 6 hours on a charge!

Mid-range speaker for too high a price

I got this speaker as a replacement for my faulty HydraBoom, and I'm less than impressed with it. Sound quality is alright, though it isn't much louder than my 4 year old Oontz brand speaker (pictured right side). Wireless range is terrible (w/ Moto One 5G phone) to the point where I can't even turn my back to the speaker with my phone in my pocket without it stuttering and stopping, and it has half as much line-of-sight range as my Oontz. Lights are cool, but they don't offer anything interesting, I assume it just jacks the price up more. Overall impression: see title. Would be very disappointed if I paid full price, would probably return if I could.

Not too heavy

The strap is helpful but the speaker is still light enough to be very portable. I enjoy taking it outside
