Ripoff

It started off great. Cool features and sounds good. Quickly started having trouble with it recharging, but after fidgeting around with the power cable, it would eventually start charging. However, it would often stop charging - I'd have it plugged in overnight only to find it with 1 or 2 bars charged. Now after a month of owning this, it won't charge at all. I've tried different cables - nothing works. The hand crank busted after about 5 minutes of use and the solar panel doesn't seem to be working either. I now have a dead radio that is useless. I would not recommend this radio to anyone

Don't waste your money

The Stormchaser is piece of trash. I received my first one in February. Unit stop charging after a few days of me taking it out of the box. I received my third one under warranty all with same problem will not charge. I tried 5 outlets in my house, 2 outlets in friends houses and tried with solar panel several times with no luck. Customer service team try to make you feel stupid. They also don't call you back even after being told they will.
BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Keeps breaking

I bought one of these and after about three months, it stopped working. Then, I exchanged it under the warranty, and the "new" one I received didn't work right out of the box. Both of them seem to have the problem of not charging. The idea/concept of the radio is great, but it is useless if it doesn't function.
